About DSAStudio
DSAStudio (De Socio Architecture Studio) is an Architecture + Design studio based in Ottawa, Canada. Founded in 2021 by Nic De Socio, DSAStudio offers a range of professional services including Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape Design.
We approach each project with fresh eyes and work collaboratively with our clients, consultants and contractors throughout all stages of the process; from initial design concept to project completion. We believe that any project has the potential for boundless opportunity and approach each one with enthusiasm, passion and meticulousness in order to create something unique and special. We strive to create work that pairs boldness with simplicity, creating design solutions that respond to program and react to their context.

About Nic De Socio
OAA | M.ARCH | MRAIC
Nic is a licensed architect who has focused his career on creating architecture that is inventive, uncomplicated, and detail-oriented. Prior to founding DSAStudio, Nic worked in the offices of Colizza Bruni Architecture, an Ottawa based award-winning practice for over a decade.
Nic earned a Master of Architecture degree from Carleton University in 2006 and is a licensed architect in Ontario. He is a member of The Ontario Association of Architects [OAA], The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada [MRAIC], and The Ottawa Regional Society of Architects [ORSA]. Nic was also a member of the Hintonburg Community Association Zoning Committee from 2009-2014.
Apart form practicing architecture, Nic is also a visual artist. His large-scale abstract paintings draw inspiration from architecture and the built world. (@nicdesocio.art)
